ArcGIS Server Web Sites Made Easy - Podcasts

Maximize Your Map
Great for all types of ArcGIS applications. Comes with a big list of tools you add as needed. Show off your database searching and reporting. Let your end users print beautiful PDF layouts that you design. Also works with ArcIMS.

Map Resources -- Link to external and internal map services from ArcGIS Server and older ArcIMS map services. You can reconfigure existing map services and duplicate services with virtual map service creation.

Database Resources -- Hook to GIS and non-GIS enterprise databases such as Oracle, SQL Server and IBM DB2. Let end-users search and report on these external databases and also allows you to link these database records to map features and vice versa.

Geocoding -- Access existing geocoding indexes in ArcGIS Server and ArcIMS. Freeance let's end-users search on street addressing and other geocoding services in Freeance web clients.

Features Selecting and Zooming To -- Complete control over feature selection, displaying exactly the data you want to return and even linking external database records to selected map features and creating many-to-one database reports, plus image and HTML hot linking.

Buffering - Buffer from a map feature or selected point. Freeance let's you manage options and create custom reporting of database tables and GIS features from buffered entities. Plus, connect to images and HTML links from buffered feature attributes.

Customizing The Application Look and Feel - The ability to change icons, colors, fonts and other application features. Frames can be modified and internal content customized to fit end-user needs.

Layer Control - Modify layer control beyond initial settings in ArcGIS Server. Move layers up-and-down, nest them three deep, even remove layers that are not needed. End-users can find layers quicker and toggle them off and on faster.

Map Tabs - Create custom Map tabs that allow your end-users to quickly turn off and on groups of layers to see different themes from your GIS. Much easier to use than lengthy layer tables, Freeance map tabs allow one click multilayer control.

Scaled PDF Printing - Create as many custom PDF print templates as you need. Any paper size, and you control the content. Allow your end-users to select from multiple PDF print templates. End-users can enter text with custom input boxes and even print out to the exact required output scale.

Redlining - End-users can redline their maps, placing specific text, points and lines on any layer they wish. Redlining can be saved on the server and viewed from any browser, from any location. Redlining can even be exported to files and converted into ESRI shape files.

Map Tips -- Easily turn on map tips that allow your end-users to see map attribute values by mousing over map features. You control the layers and data that are displayed in the map tips and even allow your end-users to toggle individual map tips off and on.

Map Feature Selection - Complete control over what data is displayed when end-users select a map feature. Hot link images, databases records and other HTML links to feature attributes. Rename field values and format output exactly how you need.
